CTS Composting Toilets

Composting Toilet Systems offers a complete line of composting toilets from our CTS-410 to our CTS-914 and the CTS-Outback. We feel these models can accomodate most of your project needs. CTS composting toilets are constructed of fiberglass with an industrial strength gel-coat. Each system consists of three interior compartments with air channels, a heavy duty aluminum access door, a fiberglass clean-out hatch, ventilation system, an easy drain system and the number of toilet risers needed with toilet chutes. All systems are shipped with detailed installation instructions and an owner's manual.

It is necessary for every system, except the CTS-Outback, to be positioned directly below the restroom facility. Because the system is waterless, each toilet riser requires a direct toilet chute drop into the composting system below. Also required is access to the compositng system for maintenance activity and a fresh air supply to the area housing the composting system.

Options include; photovoltaic package, liquid re-spray system, automatic fire suppresion system, urinals and tank support cradle.

Why the CTS Outback?  There are several sites around America that have particular needs that the CTS Outback addresses.  Sites may require low profile composting toilets due to high water tables, high wind loads, or simply in keeping with the idea of not wanting to interrupt the natural landscape with a building.  Some sites require that the composting toilet be moved seasonally, the CTS Outback is small enough to move. Some sites require that during the off-season you "Leave No Trace" so the toilet and vent system can be removed and the low profile, partially buried, tank is practically out of sight.  Able to support the weight of six hundred pounds, the exterior is impregnated with sand for user traction and safety when using the system.  For user privacy, natural vegetation from the surrounding landscape can be used, helping the system blend into the area.  The CTS Outback provides a clean, environmentally safe alternative to the old pit latrine.
